Nicoline’s Story
In 2014, I led a hectic life as an elementary school teacher, juggling the whirlwind of work and family commitments. Amidst the growing stresses and responsibilities, I yearned for balance, a countermeasure to my self-admitted workaholic tendencies. It was during these moments that serendipity stepped in, introducing me to the Zentangle® Method.
Promised as an enjoyable, relaxing, and easily accessible creative outlet by its founders, the Zentangle method did not disappoint. Just like countless others worldwide, I discovered solace and rejuvenation in this meditative art form. Moreover, I started to believe in my ability to create something visually captivating.
Hours of peaceful relaxation, newfound artistic confidence, and a serene sanctuary amidst life's chaos – these were the invaluable gifts bestowed by a regular Zentangle practice. My passion for tangling and my curiosity about its benefits continued to flourish. In the spring of 2022, I fulfilled a long-held dream of studying under the guidance of Zentangle’s creators. Today, I proudly stand before you as a Certified Zentangle® Teacher, eager to meld my teaching expertise with my affection for tangling.
Now, armed with the certification, I can blend my love for teaching with my love for tangling. I find true joy in assisting others in uncovering the advantages and pleasures of creating Zentangle art. I invite you to join me on this journey with a sense of hope and curiosity, exploring art as a vehicle for tranquility, self-discovery, and artistic expression.

While it's always beneficial to use the recommended materials, all you really need to practice the Zentangle method is a pen, a pencil, and a piece of paper. Even the recommended materials are budget-friendly.
